Yuzu Aihara[]
They have a good relationship and has mentioned before that she has a charm and energy that brings good business to his cafe. He seems very open-minded and supports Yuzu relationship with her lover, without knowing who her lover is. He does worry about her from to time to time. After finding out that Mei is her lover he calls off the engagement to support their love.
Matsuri Mizusawa[]
They have a very casual relationship, with Matsuri being a regular customer in his cafe since she was little.
Mei Aihara[]
Initially, they met each other during the summer trip, then met again after finding out they were arranged to be married. During his meeting with her, he did not know that Mei was an Aihara or that she's Yuzu's step-sister, and was willing to keep their arrangement a secret from Yuzu as a request from Mei. He seems to hold a high respect for Mei, mentioning how she's willing to take the burdens of her family despite how young she is. When he receives a call from her telling him to rush their engagement, he reminds her that she's still a young high school student and should enjoy her life before taking her place as the next heir. However, after finding out that Mei is Yuzu's lover he calls off the engagement to support their love.
